Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Specialist to join our Recruitment team. They will play an integral role in supporting our recruitment efforts in Kenya. They will collaborate with the recruitment team based in Nigeria to identify, attract, and hire top-tier Kenyan talent alongside other African talent that aligns with our company's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent in Kenya.
- Manage the company's online presence on job boards and social media.
- Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes for tech roles, with a strong focus on AWS-certified professionals.
- Collaborate with the management team, clients, and other stakeholders to understand their specific talent needs and requirements.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their technical skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
- Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through the offer stage, ensuring a seamless and positive recruitment journey.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline of AWS-certified professionals and other tech talent.
- Collaborate closely with the recruitment team in Nigeria to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of TUA's recruitment processes and tools.
- Conduct background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment screenings as required.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 5 years of extensive recruitment experience.
- Must be a Kenyan national
- A Masters degree in a related field is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the Kenyan job market and talent landscape
- Proven experience in tech recruitment, with a strong track record of successfully hiring AWS-certified professionals.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing, interviewing, negotiation, and offer.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
